NV.Horse is an independent, evidence-first public resource about Nevada's free-roaming horses, the landscapes they occupy, the laws that govern them, and the agencies responsible for managing them.
Purpose
Make the discussion better informed.
Nevada's horses sit at the intersection of ecology, wildlife, public-land policy, state law, federal law, animal welfare, water, infrastructure, and local communities.
Those subjects are complicated enough without turning every question into an argument about whether someone is "for" or "against" horses.
NV.Horse does not exist to tell visitors what conclusion they must reach. Its role is to organize reliable information, identify jurisdiction, explain the available evidence, and distinguish documented facts from claims that remain disputed or unverified.

Supported by statutes, agency records, official datasets, peer-reviewed research, or other independently verifiable evidence.
Disputed
Reliable or materially involved sources disagree about what happened or how the evidence should be interpreted.
Unverified
A claim may be circulating publicly, but sufficient evidence has not been identified to responsibly present it as fact.
What we do not know
"We do not know" is a valid answer.
Some claims concerning Nevada's horses cannot presently be independently substantiated.
An absence of verification does not automatically establish that a claim is false. It means sufficient evidence has not been identified to present the claim responsibly as fact.
NV.Horse would rather leave a question open than fill the gap with speculation.
